As often happens, one of Building Buddy’s previous customers has returned, to once again experience the creative rush of the Home Building experience they felt the first time around.
Steve and Sheree used Building Buddy to design and build their previous home in 2008. They really enjoyed that experience,and hoped for a repeat some time. They grabbed at the opportunity when their home sold unexpectedly during an experimental run at the market. Luck was certainly running with them, because when the dilapidated home on the property next door came on the market soon thereafter, they snapped it up.
Now they were set for a repeat of the building buddy experience. They got in touch excitedly and were pleasantly surprised at the development of the Building Buddy service over the intervening years. This is now the second time … and we are glad we came back when we wanted to build a new home.”

“Steve and Sherry had a long wish-list for their dream home,” said Building Buddy custom home designer, Simin Aroubandi.
“They knew exactly what they wanted, and they even gave us the precise size of each room.
“This time round they wanted a Hampton style façade, Although their design ideas included many contemporary features and entailed a synthesis of Cape Cod home design elements as well.”
“… They helpfully assembled a catalogue of inspirational images from around the web into a Pinterest account and shared that with us, which was great! ” Simin added.
To design Steve and Sheree’s new home, include everything on their wish list – and end up with a home which is gorgeous – was a real challenge but Simin was more than up to the task.
“It was a stimulating project from the very outset. I approached it a little like a jigsaw puzzle.
“I worked on each individual element until it delivered a beautiful result, just like a completed jigsaw image” said Simin.
The first sketches of Simin’s custom new home concept were delivered at Building Buddy’s first design meeting with Steve and Sherry.
After a few follow-up modifications, Simin’s second design hit the spot, and follow up iterations merely served to fine-tune the composition.
Steve and Sherry are ready to start building their ultimate dream-home this week.
